Rockstar Energy Drink Toyota Racing Drift Driver Fredric Aasbø

Norwegian Fredric Aasbo made his U.S. debut at a global drifting invitational in 2008 and sent shockwaves throughout the Formula Drift scene as he started taking out Formula Drift champions and ultimately won the 2010 Formula Drift Rookie of the Year title. Since then, he has rapidly progressed through the drifting ranks around the world as both a fan favorite and a championship contender.

Aasbo made an unforgettable impression on the Prodrift European Series.

Known for his flat-out style, Aasbo has achieved over 100 podium finishes on three continents over the past decade, and has been signed to Papadakis Racing’s Formula Drift program since 2011. The Rockstar Energy Drink driver and Toyota ambassador is a three times Formula Drift Fan Favorite award winner and a championship contender, and has achieved more than 100 podium results and wins on three continents over the past decade of competition.

In 2016, he is the defending Formula Drift World Champion as well as the defending Formula Drift Pro Champion.

Originally from Ski, Norway, Aasbo now splits his time between his native country and Southern California. He runs a full international campaign, competing stateside in Formula Drift with Papadakis Racing as well as in select events in Europe and in Asia with Toyota and RS-R.

Fredric has garnered a strong transatlantic fan following spanning across the United States, Europe and the Middle East, reaching all the way to drifting’s home cradle: Japan.
